TEAM TRAINING.
The “Take 1 Fam,” as we proudly call our team members, have been training, competing, performing, and working in the entertainment industry for over a decade. What began as a modest weekly session exploring different dance styles and strength/fitness training has grown into the highly respected “Take 1 Dance” brand we are known for today. Our talented team has collaborated with major global brands and events such as Nike, Red Bull, Cineworld, and Levi’s, among others. Their commitment to growth and development has opened doors to travel and engage with the global dance scene in countries like the USA, China, and Australia.
Our team has consistently remained undefeated in both local and national street dance competitions over the years, earning numerous titles across solo, duo, and team categories. These achievements have paved the way for many of our senior members to now serve as judges at the very competitions where they once competed. Additionally, many of our dancers are highly respected in the hip hop battle scene, both in the UK and on the international stage.
We take great pride in knowing that the supportive environment we provide, combined with the dedication and passion of our young dancers, has helped shape confident, driven individuals. Being part of our team has not only developed their dance skills but also instilled valuable qualities, morals, and a strong mindset that have positively impacted their entire lives.
We regularly host auditions and trial sessions for those interested in joining our team. We recommend that you or your child participate in our ongoing classes to become familiar with our training style and goals. This also gives our staff the chance to assess your potential. However, please note that we do not select dancers solely based on experience or ability—our membership is often based on potential and a strong work ethic!
